2024 College Tours
One of the four central pillars of Awesome Ambitions is College and Career Readiness. Each year we offer a college tour experience for our young ladies. This year, in March 2024, Awesome Ambitions will be hosting two college tours.
Spring College Tour-Atlanta, GA
Sunday, March 24th - Wednesday, March 27, 2024
$150 Per Traveler
Includes motorcoach travel to Memphis, TN and Atlanta, GA. This tour will include an overnight stop in Memphis, TN at the Lorraine Hotel and Museum; two nights in Atlanta, GA visiting Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University, with a visit to the Martin Luther King Center. Limited space is available.
Kansas State University Tour-Manhattan, KS
Saturday, March 23, 2024 9AM-6PM
No Cost
This day tour will include bus transportation to Manhattan, KS where we will visit the campus of Kansas State University. Girls will tour the campus including classrooms, dorms, gyms and libraries. We will meet leaders of the Black Student Union, have lunch in the K-State Student Union and meet with K-State leaders about tuition, scholarships and student life.
Registration is now closed for the Atlanta College Tour. Girls that desire to attend the K-State College Tour must complete and submit the K-State College Tour 2024: Student Permission, Release & Medical Authorization Form & Application via the link below by

*Selected applicants for Atlanta Spring College Tour will be notified by February 8, 2024. There will be a waitlist for the Spring College Tour-Atlanta due to capacity restrictions.
*If you apply for the Atlanta tour and you are NOT selected, you are able to still attend the college tour to K-State.
The Awesome Ambitions’ Board reserves the right to determine the girls who are selected to participate. Attendance, attitude, and participation will also be a determining factor in the board’s decision.
Dress Code for College Tours
Please understand that you are representing Awesome Ambitions and our brand as a college and career readiness program. You will be required to wear your Awesome Ambitions Polo shirts. An additional shirt for girls attending the Atlanta College Tour will be provided at no cost. Girls should pair their Awesome Ambitions shirts/polos with khakis, chinos, leggings, or non-distressed jeans without holes and comfortable shoes. No shorts or jeans/pants with holes and rips, or distressed may be worn. For girls selected to attend the Atlanta College Tour, please bring one casual outfit to wear for a nice evening dinner. There will be consequences for failing to follow the dress code including being denied participation in the college tours. Please see attached .

Mandatory Parent Travel Safety Make-up Meeting
Parents/Guardians of girls attending the Atlanta college tour who did not attend the March 4th meeting must attend the make-up mandatory 30-minute Travel & Safety Meeting which will be on Zoom:
