Awesome College Tour- Lincoln University

 Awesome girls will take a road trip to Lincoln University (LU) located in Jefferson City, MO.  Blue Tiger Day allows prospective students to explore what LU, a public Historically Black College and University (HBCU), has to offer.  They will learn more about the admissions, scholarships, and financial aid process, and also meet with faculty and professors who will answer questions about campus opportunities.  The day will end with the girls attending the Lincoln Blue Tigers vs. Nebraska Kearney football game.  This will be an all day event that you don't want to miss!  

Details:

1.Meet at UMKC School of Nursing Ready to board the bus at 7am! Bus leaves promptly at 7:15am NO EXCEPTIONS. Awesome girls are always on time and ready!

2. Awesome Girls will wear their Red Awesome Ambitions Shirts will be distributed at the October 5th meeting. Remember NO jeans, shorts, skirts with holes. Please dress to be at a football game and to walk the campus

3. Light snacks(Granola bars, breakfast bars, fruit snacks, Rice crispy treats, water, capri suns) will be provided on the Charter Bus to Lincoln. Awesome girls are welcome to bring their own as needed.

4. We will arrive in Jefferson City by 945a ready for checkin and registration at 10am

5. 10:30-1:30 We will participate in the scheduled activities(See attached)

6. We will attend the football game 2pm-4pm

7. We will board the bus and stop at Chic Fil A in Jefferson City for Dinner to eat on the ride home to Kansas City

8. Awesome Ambitions will arrive back at UMKC School of Nursing by 7:30pm

Bring:

1.Awesome girls can bring money for LU gear, concession stands at the football game and Dinner at Chic Fil a.
