About the Event
Girls will hear from Black and College Bound experts about preparing for college with emphasis on local colleges and HBCU Walking Billboard College.
We will break into workshops (8th an 9th grade girls in one session; the 10th through 12th grade girls another workshop. Duane Anthony’s team from Maranatha Ed will talk about the importance of test-prep and give useful tips and tricks for raising scores in an effort to attend the college of your choice and compete for scholarships .
