Awesome College Preparation
Awesome Girls will to attend 3 college preparation sessions designed to give advice on how to apply for colleges and scholarships and how to be successful after high school. The sessions will be led by Missouri College Advising Corps, KC Scholars, and panel of current college students.

OBJECTIVES
Missouri College Advising Corps: Awesome Girls will receive tips on what they can do now to prepare for college and various careers
KC Scholars: Awesome Girls will receive advice on how to write a scholarship essay and learn about two KC Scholars scholarship programs: College/Savings Account Match Program for 9th graders and The Traditional Scholarship for 11th graders.
College Panel: Awesome Girls will have the opportunity to talk with a group of current college students about their experiences at University of Missouri-Kansas City, The University of Kanas, University of Central Missouri, and MCC-Penn Valley
